DESCRIPTION:Grace Episcopal Church and project partners are thrilled to ann
 ounce the completed construction of a 32 kW solar power system on their ro
 oftop.\nThis project\, made possible through the collective efforts of the
  church volunteer team\, the WA Department of Commerce Clean Energy Progra
 m\, Olympia Community Solar\, and Cascadia Solar\, reduces operating costs
  and generates clean electricity for the church. The endeavor has expanded
  the church’s ability to serve its congregation and the broader communit
 y for years to come\, with the added benefit of reduced carbon emissions. 
 This ceremony and workshop is a great opportunity to learn more about the 
 benefits of solar\, meet the individuals and organizations that have made 
 this project a reality\, and celebrate Grace’s commitment to caring for 
 the Earth and supporting and empowering residents of Bainbridge Island.\nT
 he program will include:\nRibbon Cutting Ceremony (9:00 am) with words of
  acknowledgement from key project partners:\n\nAnn New\, Grace Senior Ward
 en\nMarcia Lagerloef and Dan Rohan\nDave and Krista from Cascadia Solar\nM
 ason Rolph from Olympia Community Solar\n\nEducational workshop (10:00 am)
 \nKrista Myers and Mason Rolph will provide a presentation featuring infor
 mation about the project\, how solar power works\, and how people interest
 ed in solar can learn more.\nPlease RSVP to ensure we have enough refreshm
 ents and seating for all attendees. The ceremony will be held on the outsi
 de patio\, if weather permits. Outdoor seating will be available.\nThe pro
 ject is funded by a grant from the WA Department of Commerce Clean Energy 
 Community Grants program\, which is supported with funding from Washington
 ’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington’s climate
  action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate
  pollution\, creating jobs\, and improving public health. Information abou
