Sundays for Grace Kids

Sundays for Grace Kids
Sunday nursery and classes are offered during the 9:30 am service in the classrooms. Parents/guardians can retrieve their children from the nursery at the close of the service; older children return to the sanctuary for communion with their families.
Church Nursery
Every Sunday we offer loving child-care managed by Petra Esparza, Nursery Supervisor, with the assistance of our trained caregiver, Christina Fisher. Children up to the age of four are welcome here on a drop-in basis.
Base Camp
For children in preschool through 2nd grade, Base Camp recognize the innate spirituality of children and encourages curiosity and imagination in experiencing the mystery of our faith. Liisa Peterson, a Montessori-trained teacher with many years of experience, offers children a beautiful door into learning about story, ritual, and prayer.
Wayfarers
With our 3rd– 5th graders, we step dynamically into the journey of our faith through interactive storytelling, drama, art, music, and ritual. We foster a tightly-knit community as we ask big questions together about God, the world, service, and justice. Welcoming perspectives of folks of many ages and backgrounds, we seek to open our minds and spirits to story of God's love in the world and how that story is being told through us.
Volunteers
We welcome you to be a Classroom Friend to our youngest members! Everyone has something to offer, whether it's storytelling, music, art, science, work for justice and peace, or friendship. Parents and grandparents, those with grown children, and those who never had children all make wonderful volunteers. If you're interested, please contact Kimberly Cockroft, Minister for Faith Formation, [email protected].
