Thursday Evening Lent Series
Thursdays, March 4, 11, 18, and 25
7:00-8:30 pm on Zoom
Our Lenten series opens on March 4 in the wilderness with Jesus and (as the evangelist Mark tells us) the wild beasts. Jesus has been driven there by the Spirit, which suggests that our own spiritual work in Lent will take us into wilderness places, where we will be confronted by the wild beasts that roam our own place and time: from our own desires and personal challenges to the larger events and dilemmas of the political and social worlds.
This first session will focus, then, on boundaries, the healthy practices, rules, and ways of life we adopt to navigate our way safely, with God's help, through our complicated lives. Join us as we search together for the Spirit in these wild, intriguing, and sometimes dangerous places. Led by Wren Blessing and Stephen Crippen.

For Children: Story and Song During Lent
As we move into the season of Lent, we'll be meeting and learning from essential workers from our community.
If you or someone you know is a frontline worker, in healthcare, teaching, farming, retail, or other fields, and would like to speak to our children about their work, please let Kim know.
