Grace Night OwlsJoin Our Team! To support keeping Grace safe and secure, we have a Night Owl team. Each team member volunteers for a week at a time. We walk the exterior of the building, verify all the doors are locked and latched, and that all windows and the gate are closed and latched. The team members arrive after 9:00 p.m. or a bit later, after all the folks involved in a rental or other Grace activities have left. This takes about 15-20 minutes. Youth Sailing Trip Aboard the AdventuressAugust 28 – 31 All high school youth — rising freshman through recently graduated seniors — are invited on a trip of a lifetime aboard the historic schooner, Adventuress. We will spend 4 days/3 nights onboard this 113-foot ship, sailing through the waters of the Salish Sea. Along the way, we will learn about navigation and marine biology (Adventuress is a floating lab!); we'll search for whales and other wildlife; we'll engage in community building activities; cook meals together; create music and prayer; and even take turns sailing the ship! We will board the Adventuress at the Port of Everett Marina on Wednesday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m. and return to the Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle on Saturday, August 31 at 2:00 p.m. $200/person. Scholarships readily available – contact Kim at kim@gracehere.org. For more infomation visit:
