When Prayers are Needed
Grace maintains an online prayer list, currently compiled by Patricia Erskine, who adds words from poems, scripture, and spiritually inspiring prose. If you would like to request prayers for you or someone you know, please fill out a prayer request form which is found below or send a request to [email protected].
We welcome requests for people outside Grace Community. If requesting prayers for a person or persons other than yourself, please ask them for permission to add them to the prayer list. If you prefer, you may contact the Grace Office or our Rector, Wren Blessing, or a member of the Pastoral Care Leadership Team. Or you may reach the office or Rector at (206) 842-9997.
First names on the Grace online prayer list are also read aloud during Prayers of the People at both Sunday services. We welcome requests for others outside the Grace Community. Again, if you are requesting prayers for someone else, please ask them personally if they would like to be added to the Grace Prayer List before submitting your request.
For Confidential Prayers Do you have a prayer request, but prefer to keep it confidential? The Pastoral Care Leadership Team begins their monthly meetings with prayers for those who want to be remembered by a smaller group. The group will also keep you in their private prayers for the following month, or longer if you wish. If you are interested in confidential prayer, please contact the Rector, Wren, or any of the six lay people on the Pastoral Care Team.
Thank you for sending in your prayer request. Prayers go out each week as an email to those who request to receive them. If you would like to be added to the list to receive prayers please call the Grace office.
