Super Suppers

Super Suppers provides a special way to connect with our community, both inside and outside of Grace. On the last Friday of every other month, Grace volunteers prepare and serve dinner at Eagle Harbor Church in Winslow. Meals are free of charge, and everyone is welcome to be our guest. We cook and serve at EHCC because our guests live primarily in the downtown Winslow area and do not have transportation to get to the North end of the island.
Would you like to be a part of this ministry of serving? We begin preparing our meal around 3 pm Friday and serve at 5 pm. We never know exactly how many guests we'll have, but it's usually between 30 and 45.
Two weeks before our serving date, a sign-up email is circulated. For more information or to be added to the Super Suppers email list, email Cindy Logan.
There is no commitment for a regular sign-up. We have a planning meeting each January, and you can participate on any Friday you're able.
As anyone who has helped in the Grace kitchen knows, there is a lot of fun and goodness that comes from preparing and serving a meal together. We have a wonderful core team and we share a meal when we finish. It's a very special time to get to know each other better and share ideas.
Fun Fact: Sponsored by the Bainbridge Island Interfaith Council, Super Suppers is one of Grace Church's longest standing Outreach programs – it's been going for more than 20 years!
