Membership
The Membership Ministry works to welcome the stranger and to include all people—especially newcomers—in Grace activities and community. Our goal is to intentionally channel communal energy to include all who walk into or hear about Grace Church.
The Membership committee has been trained in a program called ‘Invite-Welcome-Connect’ and uses these themes with creative energy. We staff a Welcome table on Sundays to greet, direct, and assist all who enter our doors.
New “Invite” strategies include the use of better signage and placement of the Welcome table in a more prominent spot in the Narthex. The “Connect” team staged a Ministry Fair in fall 2016 to highlight opportunities to join in the life of the parish. Semi-annual New Member brunches took place in March and October.

After the 9:30am service each Sunday, visitors can grab a cup of coffee and visit the Welcome Table to learn more about Grace membership and programs.
