2026 Stewardship CampaignOctober 12 to November 23, 2025 Each year, our Annual Stewardship Campaign invites us to pause, reflect, and respond to God’s abundant grace in our lives. Our theme, How Then Shall We Live?, asks us to consider what it means to live faithfully, generously, and purposefully in our time and place. Your generous support makes this kind of life together possible. We invite you to help us reach our 2026 Annual Stewardship goal of $750,000, ensuring that Grace can continue to grow as a vibrant, inclusive, and caring spiritual home for all who come through our doors. Pledge packets will be available to pick up at Grace beginning Sunday, October 12. Inside you’ll find everything you need to make your 2026 pledge, a reflection card, a pledge card, and a return envelope. Please prayerfully consider your gift and return your pledge card either in the offertory basket or by mailing it to the church office. You may also click the button below to learn more and make your pledge online. Together, as we ask How Then Shall We Live? may our response be one of gratitude, generosity, and joy, living as a community grounded in grace and committed to love in action. “There is a spirituality to money. It is the fruit of our life's energies. When we give it away to bless the world around us, we further the good of our lives and the work we do. In return, we are blessed by living in a better world. This is the spiritual paradox of tithing. In giving, we receive.” — Rev. Eric Mason Please get in touch with Wendy Tyner or Julie Shryock if you have any questions about the campaign. Conversation to Care for CreationSunday, October 12 Conversations for Creation Care will meet this Sunday in the Living Room, midway through the coffee hour. (Note the change of location because our altar location is lovely but noisy.) Please join us in listening and sharing with each other, as we consider the issue of sacred resistance. How can we, as Christians, make a positive impact in a world that seems negative and out of line with Jesus’ teachings? This also provides a chance to assist John Kydd, who is preparing a Kitsap Climate Change Town Hall at Grace in November. |

Special thanks to our presenter, Rick Jackson, for his wonderful, inspiring sessions. It truly takes a village. United We StandAn Interreligious Prayer Vigil in Troubled Times Wednesday, November 5, 2025, 7-8 p.m. at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, 1245 10th Ave. E., Seattle or via livestream. In this time of trial and struggle, as we confront challenges to our civil society and our body politic, we are at a crossroads of conscience. And though the voices of vitriol and extremism often resound loudly, it is the judicious wisdom of resilient and courageous peacemakers who will lead us through this crisis. Prayerful reflection stands as a hopeful response to the static of cynicism. Join local religious leaders and fellow citizens who will gather in Seattle’s Saint Mark’s Cathedral at this critical juncture of our nation’s history. In times of crisis, we come together. All are invited to join in this brief non-partisan interfaith service of hope, either in-person or via livestream. We ask you to embrace this moment of contemplation and connection, as we affirm the principles that transcend our differences, and the common cause that will bind the wounds of this great nation. An interreligious event co-sponsored by: Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral • The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia • St. James Catholic Cathedral• The Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle • Temple De Hirsch Sinai • First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Seattle • Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement at Seattle University |
