In Memoriam: Priscilla “Jill” Todd
April 11, 1940 – February 18, 2026 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mom, Priscilla “Jill” Todd, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 85. Born April 11, 1940 to Bill and Jean Bentley, she grew up in Saugus, MA. In 1962, Jill married Dick Rohrbacher, and they welcomed Krista in 1963. During his military service, the family lived in Germany and later at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where Wendy was born in 1967. After their divorce, Jill married Bert Todd in 1977, and Jill and Bert shared 48 adventurous years together in Saugus, and New Port Richey, Florida. Jill lovingly embraced Bert’s daughters, Stephanie and Carolyn “K-K,” as her own. In 2018, Jill and Bert moved to Poulsbo to live with Krista and her family. Jill built a remarkable career at Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and rising from the secretarial pool to senior program administrator, managing multimillion-dollar federal research and development contracts. She succeeded through persistence, intelligence, and warmth. Funny, capable, and incredibly competent, she was the person you called for tech help, party planning, furniture assembly, or simply sound advice. In recent years, Jill faced cognitive decline and the heartbreak of losing Bert last February. We are deeply grateful to the friends and helpers who filled her final year with kindness and laughter. We miss her dearly but find comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited with her beloved Bert, dancing and playing golf again with her memories restored. Jill was a member of Grace Church on Bainbridge Island, Washington. A service celebrating her life will be held at Grace on March 4 at 2:30 pm. —Krista Webb |
