We are looking for new volunteers to run the livestream at our Sunday 9:30 a.m. services. The livestream is an important way that people who cannot attend Grace remain connected with our community. Gallery Reception for Virginia DavisonSunday, May 10 after the 9:30 a.m. service The Gallery at Grace is delighted to feature long-time member and mixed-media artist, Virginia H. Davison, as our artist in residence for the next two months. Her show, entitled “The Art of Color,” features sculpture as well as linocut printmaking, all reflecting the joy of creation and innovation through the use of color, pattern, and design. Please join us for a reception for Virginia following the 9:30 a.m. service. This show is a part of Handwork2026, a yearlong initiative of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Spiritual Writing ClassBegins Wednesday, May 13 First Section: Memoir Second Section: Poetry Third Section: Prayer Sign up for one, two, or all sections! Participants in each class section will study excerpts in each genre from well-known spiritual writers. By the end of all three sections, participants will have created and shared one piece of their own writing. Led by writers Kim Cockroft and Florrie Munat. Summer poetry section facilitated by Notre Dame Literature PhD student Merry Cockroft. Groups meet in Grace’s Living Room. Kids’ Night In + Parents’ Night Out
Saturday, May 9, 5:00–9:00 p.m. (pickup between 7–9 p.m.) Cost: $15 per child | Scholarships available Parents, leave kid fun up to us while you enjoy an evening out! Children (preschool–grade 4) are invited to Grace for a prehistoric party on Saturday, May 9. Adventures will include a DIY volcano activity, floor-is-lava obstacle course, caveman dinner (no utensils—dress for mess!), and so much more. Along the way, kids discover what makes them unique and grow confident in being themselves—no pressure, no perfection, just a great week.
