A resolution will be proposed at this Sunday's Annual Meeting

Thank you so much to those of you who were able to attend the congregational conversation about the possibility of affordable housing on Grace land.  We heard from Phedra Elliott, the Executive Director of Housing Resources Bainbridge, who provided a detailed overview of the housing crisis on Bainbridge Island and the various ways that HRB is addressing it. Tom Croker, representing Bethany Lutheran, spoke about their affordable housing efforts. The questions from those in attendance were robust and helpful in providing additional insight and clarity.

Click the button below to watch the recording of the meeting.

Important to note: A resolution to begin discerning whether affordable housing on Grace land is feasible will be proposed at this Sunday's Grace Annual Meeting, following the 9:30 a.m. service. Questions? Please reach out to: Rev. Eric, Julie Shryock, Valerie Reinke, and/or the wardens, Tom Ringo & Ann New.

Foundations Class Continues

Foundations Class Continues

The Foundations Class is designed for those who want a deeper understanding of the Episcopal Church and my particular take on Christianity. If you are new to Grace and curious about the Episcopal tradition, are a teenager or adult who wants to be confirmed, or if you’ve been around Grace a while and want a refresher, this is for you. It’s a new member's class, a confirmation class, and a spiritual repast combined.

We will continue to meet in the Living Room on the following Sundays:

March 8 – April 19 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m
Note that we will not meet this Sunday, March 1.

For those who wish, we will travel together to St. Mark’s Cathedral on Saturday, April 25, to be confirmed by the Bishop.

— Rev. Eric, reveric@gracehere.org
