Conversation for Creation CareSunday, June 7 during coffee hour We will convene this Sunday in the living room during coffee hour. Spring is here, and my garden is reaching and growing. Foolishly, I try to help — weeding, planting, watering — and yet it follows its own course as if navigating by the stars. Sturdy green shoots and flowers pop up that were hidden a day ago. Spiritual Writing Class
Second Section: Poetry Third Section: Prayer Participants in each class section will study excerpts in each genre from well-known spiritual writers. By the end of each section, participants will have created and shared one piece of their own writing. Each class section requires registration and will be capped at 12 participants. Baccalaureate Ceremony The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 8677 Madison Ave. NE All seniors, families, and friends are welcome. Seniors, please arrive by 2:30 and wear your robes. Bainbridge Pride Festival A celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and allies! Grace will have a booth. Stay tuned for ways to be involved. Devotion to Democracy: Turning the Tide Activists from Common Power, the NAACP, Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center, and others show us how our individual actions can strengthen our democracy and turn the tide in our country this fall. |
