Care for Creation Conversation

Care for Creation Conversation

This Sunday, August 3

We will meet this Sunday after coffee hour in a circle near the altar. We’ve enjoyed wonderful conversations about our sacred natural systems and our place in them. We wonder how to live out our faith while resisting. Can we love and respect those with whom we deeply disagree politically? Is there such a thing as sacred resistance? How shall the church respond? Our Presiding Bishop, Sean Rowe, has written: “We are now being faced with a series of choices between the demands of the federal government and the teachings of Jesus, and that is no choice at all.” Let’s consider these issues together by joining this caring circle.
