Artist’s Reception with Isobel Coney

Many at Grace are familiar with Isobel’s skill and talent as a teaching artist. In November and December, we have the gift of her art. Isobel’s latest ceramic work features an Italian decorative technique called Sgraffito. Using the rolled-out clay like a canvas, she paints layers of colored glazes on, then carves out whimsical patterns, making connections between the natural world and our daily lives.
