Island Youth Night

Island Youth Night

Silent Disco

Sunday, October  5, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Island Center Hall.

What’s a silent disco? It’s basically a dance party where everyone looks like they’ve lost their minds… but really, they’re just jamming to music through headphones. Bonus: you can switch channels to different DJs, so you and your friends might be dancing to totally different beats—awkward moves encouraged, of course!

We'll then gather on the first Sunday of each month.

Email Melissa Meyers to learn more.

The Power of Parables

October 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18,
7 p.m. at Grace Church

Led by Eric Mason & Kim Cockroft
Open to All

Learn to live in God’s Kingdom, one parable at a time. Jesus’ stories shocked, stirred, and transformed his original listeners into new ways of seeing and being. Over the years, we’ve domesticated those parables until they are rote and predictable.

Join us as we hear Jesus’ stories again with new ears and open hearts.

Our text: The Kingdom of God is Like ... by Thomas Keating is available in the narthex. Suggested donation is $13.

Lost & Found Table

Lost & Found Table

Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of September.

The office lost-and-found drawer has overflowed, so items have been moved to the narthex. Please check the table and coat racks for your missing items. Bonus: Snag a beautiful piece of unclaimed spiral art, which is now up for grabs!

Have you lost a significant and valuable piece of jewelry? An item was found and is being held in the office for safekeeping. Please email office@gracehere.org with a description.

St. Cecilia Requiem

at St. Cecilia's Parish

On Sunday, September 21, at 3:00 p.m., Pacific Northwest composer Patrick Stoyanovich will present the world premiere of his St. Cecilia Requiem at St. Cecilia's Parish, 1310 Madison Ave N, Bainbridge Island. Written in honor of the patron saint of music, the work reflects a deep engagement with sacred tradition while shaped by Stoyanovich’s distinct compositional voice.

This requiem confronts tradition with a fresh perspective, renewing a centuries-old form through thoughtful innovation and emotional rigor.
