Welcome, Natalie Gaggini!
I’m excited to join Grace Church as the Volunteer Coordinator for Children and Youth Programs. A little about me: I’m a wife and mother, and I currently worship at St. Cecilia Parish. My family has called Bainbridge Island home for nearly 10 years, and I’m grateful for the many ways we’ve become part of the Island community. Before stepping into this role, I spent several years working in data governance and managing teams, where I especially enjoyed bringing people, ideas, and resources together. I’m looking forward to bringing that same spirit of connection and collaboration to Grace Church and getting to know the children, families, volunteers, and wider church community. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll usually find me sewing, baking, or walking and exploring the trails around Bainbridge. Our family is also getting ready to welcome a new member—a Cavalier King Charles puppy named Peanut! I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of Grace Church and look forward to meeting you and getting to know this community. |

2027 Stewardship at Grace
With much gratitude, we have raised $379,070, reaching 47% of our $850,000 goal. With the theme Growing Grace, we invite you to join our leadership teams in helping us reach 100% of our goal, so we can have a greater connection with God and with one another. Please consider pledging any amount you feel called to give. When we make offerings, we’re really just giving back a small portion of what He has already given us. —Tootie Kuhn, Parishioner To pledge, visit the link below. Please reach out to Wendy Tyner with any questions about stewardship. For more infomation visit:

Soul ReflectionsSundays after the 9:30 am service Have you ever wanted to share your reactions to something that stirred in you during the Sunday service? Perhaps it was a question the homily raised, an emotional response to the music, or something said during the Children’s Moment. It could even be the light streaming in the sanctuary. Soul Reflections is a new small group during which you can share your thoughts. A Grace member will facilitate each meeting every Sunday after the 9:30 service. Hope you can come! |

Thursdays, from 2:30–4:00 pm in Grace's Living Room on the dates below. All are welcome! October 29 Wayne Herbert will be the group facilitator. If you have questions, please email him. Books are available in the narthex; $10 donations are encouraged.

Grace’s Library
Parishioner Dawn Ream has volunteered to steward the library, and she has been busy. She writes: The library’s categories have been expanded and reorganized. Some will be familiar, while others are new. I hope these changes make it easier to browse the collection and find books that match your interests. A checkout sheet and simple instructions are available on a shelf. Over the coming year, I plan to add new books and use books already in the library to create displays that follow the seasons of the church year. If you have any favorite authors or books that you would like to see in the library, or have read something that you would like shared with others, please contact me at dream7@comcast.net or (206) 780-5459. I love books, and I am grateful to the founder of Grace’s Library and to everyone who has cared for this collection over the years. Spending time among these books inspires deeper thought, reflection, and faith. I hope you enjoy the library as much as I do. With Gratitude, |

Souls to the Polls
The Grace Souls to the Polls drive will begin on October 12 and will end on Election Day, November 3. We can also collect ballots from voters who have mobility issues. A number of Grace members have volunteered to drive people to the drop box on Madison. If you need transportation to the drop box, or know someone who does, contact Jane Crane, Norm Bruce, Kathy Gillogley, Rachel Yobs, Molly Ryan, Liz Shaw, or Petra Velie. Civil engagement is a key way that we in the Christian community live out our faith. Rides are not restricted to members of Grace. For questions or to volunteer, please email Scott Deasy or call him at (928) 606-2098. (And please make sure to sign your ballot.) |

Please contact Emi Serrato with any questions. Walk starts at 10:30 am at Pier 62 (1951 Alaskan Way, Seattle). No car needed, as it is just north of the ferry terminal.
