You are Invited to be a Night Owl
To support keeping Grace safe and secure, we have a Night Owl team. Each team member volunteers for a week at a time to come to Grace, walk the exterior of the building, verify that all doors are locked and latched, all windows are closed and latched, and then close the gate. Team members arrive after 9 pm, or a bit later, after everyone involved in rentals or other Grace activities has left. This takes about 15-20 minutes. You'll receive a short orientation and then be ready to go. Your time would be a huge gift to Grace. If you want to jump right in, click here to read about the duties of the Night Owls and sign up for this ministry. Questions? Please contact:

Soul ReflectionsResumes Sunday, November 8 Have you ever wanted to share your reactions to something that stirred in you during the Sunday service? Perhaps it was a question the homily raised, an emotional response to the music, or something said during the Children’s Moment. It could even be the light streaming in the sanctuary. Soul Reflections is a new small group during which you can share your thoughts. A Grace member will facilitate each meeting. We will meet Sundays after the 9:30 service in the Wayfarers classroom. Hope you can come! |

Interfaith Council Thanksgiving ServiceTuesday, November 24 at 7:00 This year’s Interfaith Council Thanksgiving Service is taking place on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:00 pm at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church. The theme is “Celebration of Gratitude.” If you have never been, it is a wonderful event. Individuals representing a number of faith traditions on the island participate, offering reflections, prayer, and music in a celebration of community. In our fractured and divisive times, this kind of event draws people from diverse backgrounds and traditions together and celebrates our diversity. A group from Grace will lead a musical piece at the event. If you are interested in participating, click below to sign up. — Kim Thompson, Director of Music For more infomation visit: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054CACAD2EA1F49-67100087-grace
