After raising three children and working in education and business, Beth was ordained in the Lutheran church (ELCA) in 1997. She served several churches in New Jersey and as interim pastor at Lutheran churches in Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles and at Faith Episcopal Church in Poulsbo. She lives with her spouse, Bob Zimmermann, in unincorporated Jefferson County south of Rt. 104. They operate a rhododendron nursery. Beth is happy to be considered a “supply priest” and enjoys the Music Circle, the “Peninsulas” home group, the Port Townsend “Grace Travelers”, and the supper groups here at Grace. Her children and grandchildren live up and down the East Coast, so she travels there as often as she can.
