The Power of Parables

Concludes on November 18
7 p.m. at Grace Church

Led by Eric Mason & Kim Cockroft
Open to All

Learn to live in God’s Kingdom, one parable at a time. Jesus’ stories shocked, stirred, and transformed his original listeners into new ways of seeing and being. Over the years, we’ve domesticated those parables until they are rote and predictable.

Email Kim Cockroft for more information.

Men’s Group Chili Cook-Off Winners

Men’s Group Chili Cook-Off Winners

On Wednesday, November 5, the Grace Men’s Group gathered for a Chili Cook-Off. The competition was stiff. The guys who made chili for judging were Charlie Laymon, Martin Garthwaite and Mike Gillogley.

After all the ballots were counted, Mike took 3rd place, Charlie took 2nd place, and Martin took 1st place, claiming the title “Grace Men’s Group Chili Master.” Congratulations to our Chili Masters!

A special thanks to John Shea, who, as a bonus prize, presented the three winners and Eric Matthews with a fine Western Red Cedar plank and a recipe for grilling salmon.
