Holy Week and Easter at Grace
Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday Procession of the Palms for all ages at 9:30. Maundy Thursday The evening begins with an Agape Meal, followed by Holy Eucharist with foot washing, and Stripping of the Altar. Nursery will be available. This service is specifically designed for families to experience the story together. We gather around a quiet table. We share a simple meal. There is something hopeful — and something uncertain — in the air as we hear Jesus say, “Love one another like this…” Through the tender act of foot washing, children experience a powerful story of service and compassion. Good Friday, April 3 Noon (in person and on livestream) Solemn services with music. Easter Day, April 5 Note: The 5:30 a.m. sunrise gathering is on hiatus this year. Compost Spreaders Needed!
Need some fresh air and good fellowship? Grace’s Gifts of Dirt Garden could use your strong back, smile, and wheelbarrow to move compost to the ninety-foot vegetable rows. We’ll gather from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, March 22, to shovel, move, and spread this delicious black nutrition that the vegetables we raise for Helpline House thrive on. Directions to the garden are at the bottom of the Gifts of Dirt web page. Questions? Contact Pegge Ashcroft at ashcroftpegge@gmail.com or 206-348-1934. |

Foundations Class Continues
The Foundations Class is designed for those who want a deeper understanding of the Episcopal Church and my particular take on Christianity. If you are new to Grace and curious about the Episcopal tradition, are a teenager or adult who wants to be confirmed, or if you’ve been around Grace a while and want a refresher, this is for you. It’s a new member's class, a confirmation class, and a spiritual repast combined. We will meet in the Living Room from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sundays through April 19. For those who wish, we will travel together to St. Mark’s Cathedral on Saturday, April 25, to be confirmed by the Bishop. — Rev. Eric, reveric@gracehere.org |
